Orange Shirt Day is a time to commemorate those who have survived Canada's residential schools. The orange shirt was chosen as the symbol of this day when Phyllis (Jack) Webstad told her story of her first day at residential school. She remembers arriving in a shiny orange shirt, which was purchased by her grandmother. The shirt was taken when Phyllis was six years-old. To this day, we use the orange shirt as a symbol to remember those who were lost, those who survived, and those who are still healing.

90% of each sticker will be donated to an Indigenous program that has yet to be determined. Since beginning this initiative in 2023, I have donated the Orange Sticker and Pins proceeds to the Native Women's Shelter of Montreal. However, I have relocated back home to Akwesasne and would like to directly impact the community that I live in. I will post which program I will be donating to next at a later date.

Seed beads are not all made the same and discoloration can occur. To stop this from happening, place your jewelry inside of a box or hang them to prevent rubbing when not in use.

All items will be wrapped in bubblewrap and sealed in a corrugated cardboard box upon delivery.
